hahahaha thanks thatssss exciting for her. (Tupu getting her mission call to Guatamala).   I am excited she will love it here in the mtc or wherever she goes.

 

ITs almost time lol. I leave monday around 10 am so than i stop in LAX for five hours so it should be good.

 

BUt just been trying my best to do what i can do to strengthen my testimony.

 

Im gonna miss this place but i am excited to go to samoa. Its gonna be real when i am at the airport seeing people lol cause all i see is elders n sisters hahahah.

 

BUt today i am going to the temple n excited cause its p day lol. BUt also so i can write everyone n see how everyone is doing. BUt i am doing good just missing you all.

Well being in the MTC is pretty good.  It's almost 4 weeks that I've been gone.  Almost a month.  But it's been amazing over here.  Being the DL is cool but also hard.  As I am trying my best to lead, I am trying to learn from my Elders.  But as time flys by it's amazing how strong the Spirit is here. 

Being here is a true blessing.  There's a lot of distractions, so you really gotta try your best to avoid distractions.  The biggest distraction for me is laughing.  That's one thing that I am struggling with but I know when to stop and what not.  Also having Elders that like to pop jokes is funny so it gets me distracted so I am laughing.   But everything is going good.

So these past weeks, we have been studying to teach mocked investigators.  Called TRC, it's crazy how the Spirit works.  I truly testify that the Spirit works as you try to be obedient in the works.  As I was teaching, I was understanding most of the conversation but still trying to speak the language.  It's funny cause I was teaching a palagi and it just amazed me how good or great he was speaking in Samoan.  At the end he was telling me that he served with a few of my friends from back home but also said that my understanding is pretty good.  Advised me to keep trying my best to understand and speak the language.  As I left, I thought what went wrong and to fix it the next time I teach.  Overall it was amazing.

My teachers are awesome, they are palagi's so it shocks me how much Samoan they can speak.  Really cool dude's and one of them is from Oregon, name is Uso Talley.  Probably my favorite of them teachers.  Really listen to the Spirit, cause the Holy Ghost is real and helps me personally to go through out y day.

I forgot to to write everyones email down lol.

 

But just an update that im doing good and i am loving it. at the sametime its been hard because im away but i know why im here so ima stay strong an keep going forward. BUt in the mtc theres alot of work. We work 24/7 lol jk but at the sametime its funn.

 

I am learning the language pretty good but also need alot of work lol. BUt im picking it up so thats good.

 

Being the district leader is also work cause my group are full of clownssss lol. But its amzaing cause we treat each other like family. We look out for each other and also just have each others back. Although we are homesick we carry each other to keep moving forward. But i am doing good in the mtc.

 

Whats a work is waking up early lol and also going to bed at the right time lol. But overall im trying my best to work and to just do what i have to do.

 

BUt hows everything? hows the family? I miss you all so so much and always think of yall everyday. BUt i am loving the mtc although its like jail lol its still good. Hahahahaha. but i am learning alot and also trying to pick up the language but i know itll come through out the future. BUt I love you so much and miss you alot. TTYl

Living life in the MTC is pretty (faigata)hard. This week went by so....slow, lol, but fun. As I have a set schedule each day, I always stay busy.

Also having a companion 24/7 is amazing. Although he is from Tonga, and speaks little Spanish, lol Tongan, I try my best to help him. For me it was hard at first because he could barely understand but as the days went by he is picking it up fast. What a true blessing (fa'amanuiga) to have the promptings of the Spirit to let me know what to say to him. He's a wonderful guy with a strong testimony of this gospel. It's also a blessing to have "cousins" with me. We all treat each other like family (aiga).

I'm picking up the language pretty fast. The little things matter a lot in the Samoan language. What a true blessing to serve in Samoa. I am truly blessed!

The MTC is hard but fun. We work hard by getting spiritually fed. It's kind of like mind games but its not a game. Everyday when I'm done, I'm mind exhausted. And Sundays don't feel like a Sunday. We go on Sunday walks and you see all the Elders and Sisters having a little snow ball fight. Including me :).

I miss you all so much and words can't express how thankful I am.
