Malo Lava Soifua,
My family in Oregon, How's life going? What's you all been up to? How's work going?
The work on the mission field is going pretty good. This past Saturday we had a baptism. Palemia was baptized and we hoping that his family is interested in the church. But this week was busy. The area we cover is pretty big, I like it cause we walk all over the place. So it's a good workout. The two Bishop's are amazing. Really hard working men that know how to have fun at the same time. But on Sunday it was crazy. Seeing so many people with "pink eye". They call it ma'i maka. Like the whole ward had the sickness. Even my comps have the virus. Just blessed to not get pink eye. I just pray to not get sick because there's no time to get sick. Time on the mission is flying by fast. Next thing you know Pepe is serving in Samoa :-)
Samoa is an awesome mission. I'm pretty sure it's way different than the missions in the states. A lot of Samoans from Samoa. The ZL in my old area is a hard working man. He's 25 years old.
This past week just been teaching lessons to investigators. Trying to find more people that are interested. We have a family that will be baptized next week. There could be 3 more but I'm just thankful for what we have. To let people know and invite them to come unto Christ. Serving is real hard, just trying my best to stay in tune with the Spirit. Trying my best to continue on and stay strong.
Having my best friend pass away is painful. Till this day I can't take the fact that he's gone. I know that he's happy to be with his dad. That day, I knew something was wrong, I felt a bad feeling. Then all of a sudden this happens. I just can't imagine how the mom is doing. Really amazing family. I'm truly grateful for families, families are together forever.
I know in my heart I'll see my uso again. Cause life goes on. That's the beauty of this life, it's not done. I'm truly grateful for this gospel for the Plan of Salvation.
Just want you all to know that I love y'all so much and miss you all a lot. Just know that I'm doing good, just trying to be that missionary I want to be. But this week is gonna be busy. A lot of lessons to teach, got to save the world. Before we leave the house, the saying "got to save the world"

Talofa!
It's P-Day and we are just hanging out for the day. Got my clothes washed in buckets, lol. Wish I had a machine but it's okay. This week was super busy. On Friday we had Zone Conference and it was amazing. President talked to us then we went to the temple. That's the cool thing about serving in Upolu, is that you get to take a session. In Samoan. haha the Spirit is strong.
Alright, so this past week, we visited some less active members and it was amazing. This one guy is going through a lot. We taught him about forgiveness. About repentance and how we truly can be forgiven through repentance. As we were done, the lady was crying cause the Spirit was so strong. I couldn't hold it in so I started to tear up. I truly testified even though I don't have the best Samoan, I know deep down that the Spirit testified to this family that we all can be forgiven. Such a wonderful lesson that was short. Now every time we go there, the lady treats me like a son. I know without the Spirit, nothing would have happened. Just a simple lesson, Heavenly Father will help and guide you through out. This week means a lot to me, cause my trainer look at me, and said, now I know why you are a leader. Elder Tauiti, been out for a long time and still strives to finish strong. A true Elder I lookup to and helps me out a lot. This area is awesome, but reminds me of back home. Families here are amazing and funny.
We met this guy named Lingi. A cool guy that takes care of us. A member, it's cool cause he knows family from Cali. Every day I wake up, I think Heavenly Father for letting me have the opportunity to serve in Samoa. Wherever you serve, being grateful and know that you can become the best missionary. It's on you if you start now and do the most you can because Heavenly Father will help you out with the rest.
I love you all and miss you all.

Talofa,
Being in Samoa is awesome but it makes me think of home a lot. Brings back memories when I was a little kid. Today is Monday and I'm just doing the same thing. Wake up and wash my clothes in buckets. Study the Book of Mormon and just rest up for the rest of the week. Then later on at 6 we have fafaga's (dinner).
What's funny is that I am loosing weight, and I'm trying to eat as much as possible. But I know the food will catch up as time flys by.
Last week was good, we just walked around and got familiar with our area. We cover 5 villages and it's pretty big. What's funny we go knocking on doors during 12-ish, everyone is sleeping! Samoans here can sleep for days. It's crazy cause they wake up, do their chores, kids go to school, sleep till kid comes home than eat dinner, and REPEAT. That's the life in Samoa. But, me and my companions just been talking to members and trying to get use to this area since we are new.
This past Sunday, we watched a recorded missionary training, but in Samoa. The language here is crazy. I feel like people here speak English than all I hear is Samoan's speaking fast in K's. Right now just been trying to get the T's down so after I can get the K's down. People here speak in K's so sometimes it mixes me up, but then my comp explains to me after. Just been HOT so my face is black. Wish there was A/C. But I love it here, just miss home a lot.
My companions are cool. Guy from Hilo that speaks good Samoan. Today was rainy, it stinks when it rains, cause my skin feels icky. But he, it's Samoa, there's a lot of weird things here. This area, Lalomanu reminds me of back home, the beach is right there and we pass by it everyday. It's beautiful and then you see no one swimming. Just makes me think, if these Samoan's can swim. But in my area, people here are real nice and outgoing, always makes sure us Elders are 100% okay.
One thing about Samoa is that they love the bible. The houses that we visited, I probably seen one Book of Mormon in one house out of many. The Bible is good, but you need the Book of Mormon to make it great. Keystone to our religion and shows me that people here use the bible. When I know the language 100%, my goal is to use the Book of Mormon more than the bible. Book of Mormon scriptures that relate to families and bible scripture that back up the Book of Mormon. I've been reading the Book of Mormon and it's crazy how much I am learning things that I read over and over again. I learn something new. That's how strong the Spiurit is when I try to be in-tune. Samoa is awesome, always a blessing to be here but a true blessing to invite others to come unto Christ.

Talofa,
When I arrived in Samoa, just thinking how blessed I am to be here and to serve people To invite them to come unto Christ, and let them hear the true words of the Book of Mormon. It's super hot but I should get used to this weather in a couple of weeks.
Today we went proselyting and it was fun. Me and my companion invited and shared to others to read the Book of Mormon. I am just happy to be in Samoa and to testify to others that the gospel of Jesus Christ is true. People here in Samoa are nice, not like America when you go up to them and talk, they are willing to hear what you have to say. Talking to the little kids is awesome because they help you speak the language. But I just love it here and I know it's going to be hard and as I strive to be obedient, I know Heavenly Father will bless me.
I love you all so much and I am thankful for what you've done to help me become a missionary.

Talofa,
O a mai le aiga? O lea se mea ua efai?
Well being in the MTC is pretty good. It's almost 4 weeks that I've been gone. Almost a month. But it's been amazing over here. Being the DL is cool but also hard. As I am trying my best to lead, I am trying to learn from my Elders. But as time flys by it's amazing how strong the Spirit is here.
Being here is a true blessing. There's a lot of distractions, so you really gotta try your best to avoid distractions. The biggest distraction for me is laughing. That's one thing that I am struggling with but I know when to stop and what not. Also having Elders that like to pop jokes is funny so it gets me distracted so I am laughing. But everything is going good.
So these past weeks, we have been studying to teach mocked investigators. Called TRC, it's crazy how the Spirit works. I truly testify that the Spirit works as you try to be obedient in the works. As I was teaching, I was understanding most of the conversation but still trying to speak the language. It's funny cause I was teaching a palagi and it just amazed me how good or great he was speaking in Samoan. At the end he was telling me that he served with a few of my friends from back home but also said that my understanding is pretty good. Advised me to keep trying my best to understand and speak the language. As I left, I thought what went wrong and to fix it the next time I teach. Overall it was amazing.
My teachers are awesome, they are palagi's so it shocks me how much Samoan they can speak. Really cool dude's and one of them is from Oregon, name is Uso Talley. Probably my favorite of them teachers. Really listen to the Spirit, cause the Holy Ghost is real and helps me personally to go through out y day.
I love you all so much and miss you all so much.

MTC
Living life in the MTC is pretty (faigata)hard. This week went by so....slow, lol, but fun. As I have a set schedule each day, I always stay busy.
Also having a companion 24/7 is amazing. Although he is from Tonga, and speaks little Spanish, lol Tongan, I try my best to help him. For me it was hard at first because he could barely understand but as the days went by he is picking it up fast. What a true blessing (fa'amanuiga) to have the promptings of the Spirit to let me know what to say to him. He's a wonderful guy with a strong testimony of this gospel. It's also a blessing to have "cousins" with me. We all treat each other like family (aiga).
I'm picking up the language pretty fast. The little things matter a lot in the Samoan language. What a true blessing to serve in Samoa. I am truly blessed!
The MTC is hard but fun. We work hard by getting spiritually fed. It's kind of like mind games but its not a game. Everyday when I'm done, I'm mind exhausted. And Sundays don't feel like a Sunday. We go on Sunday walks and you see all the Elders and Sisters having a little snow ball fight. Including me :).
I miss you all so much and words can't express how thankful I am.
